National Limericks Day

Yesterday my English class and I wrote limericks for National Limericks Day. I thought that the limericks were pretty interesting and different in a fun way! Every student wrote a limerick and they were all creative. Most limerick were funny and  made no scene, which was cool about them. If you don’t know what a limerick is it when the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme and can have 8 to 9 syllables. For the lines third and fourth have to rhyme and have at least 5 to 6 syllables.  Most limericks start with” There once was a…” and “There was a…”. Limericks are always fun to write and you should try one on your own time. Have fun!

Week 4 Challenge Activity 4

If you could create an international event, what would it be called? What would we be celebrating? Create some of the advertising material you might use – eg logo, banner, image, flyer

I would love to create an international event where people all around the world could attend.  I would call it Summer Snow, we would celebrate snow in the summer. In the summer almost all kids are out of school and some kids might get bored of the summer heat. I have just the idea for that!  We bring snow to summer.  Summer Snow would be on July 14, every year!                                                                                                                                                                On a snowy day
